1. Liverpool is the only unbeaten team across all European competitions in 2015-2016.

2. This is the first time since 2010 that Liverpool is in the semi-finals of the Europa League. They have progressed from five of their last six European quarter-finals.

3. With last night’s win, Liverpool have now won two of the four matches they have played against Dortmund in European competitions. (One match resulted in a draw and the other in a loss)

8. Dejan Lovren’s winner was only his second Liverpool goal in 70 appearances for the club.

9. A Liverpool fan has named his son Dejan after Lovren’s heroics.

10. Jurgen Klopp’s half time team-talk asked players to summon the ‘spirit of Istanbul’ and create a moment to tell their grand children.
