Arsenal 2 – 1 Leicester City

  • Arsenal will be the only Premier League team from the 2015-16 season to beat Leicester City home & away.
  • Danny Welbeck’s goal against Leicester City was Arsenal’s 100th goal scored after 90 mins of regulation time in a Premier League game – most in the Premier League.
  • Mesut Ozil has now created 100 chances in the Premier League 2015-16. The record (since 1998 when this category was introduced) is 134 by Lampard in 2008-09.
  • When Danny Simpson was sent off against Arsenal, he became the first Leicester City player to be sent off in a Premier League match in the 2015-16 season.
  • Jamie Vardy’s six penalties won in the 2015-16 Premier League season, is the highest for any player and more than penalties won by any of the other 19 teams.

  • In his last five Premier League appearances, Christian Eriksen has been involved in five of Tottenham’s goals – three goals, two assists.
  • In his last 17 Premier League appearances, Harry Kane has scored 15 goals.
  • Manchester City has managed to win only 1 of their 10 Premier League games against sides currently in the top eight this season, having drawn 3 and lost 6.

Aston Villa 0 – 6 Liverpool

  • The win against Aston Villa was Liverpool’s joint-biggest Premier League away win – their fourth 6-0 win.
  • For the first time in a Premier League match, Liverpool had six different goals corers – Daniel Sturridge, James Milner, Emre Can, Divock Origi, Nathaniel Clyne and Kolo Toure.
  • It took Divock Origi only 37 seconds to score after coming on as a substitute – the fastest any substitute has scored in the 2015-16 Premier League season.

Sunderland 2 – 1 Manchester United

  • This win against Manchester United was Sunderland’s first against them at the Stadium of Light. Till now, they had drawn four and lost 9 against United.
  • Since 1989-90, this Premier League season has seen Manchester United score the fewest goals after 26 league games.
  • Manchester United’s 2015-16 Premier League campaign has seen them earn fewer points after 26 games, than any of their prior campaigns.
