Valencia under their new coach will host mighty FC Barcelona at their home turf, Mestalla Stadium with a weakened team. Valencia were grieved by a double red card at last game against Sevilla,. It is evident for them to put up a robust show to break the scintillating moves of Barcelona, predominantly that of MSN.

Valencia will be enforced to pitch a distressed team at Mestalla for this la liga fixture, as right back Joao Cancelo and central midfielder Javi Fuego are suspended for being sent off at last match against Sevilla. Former Manchester defender Gary Neville has taken over the helm of Valencia and will look to impress the supporters and bring back the winning mentality into the club.

Neville will be eager to make his team break off the monumental chemistry between the MSN trio, which has been already praised by pundits as the best attacking trio ever. Valencia currently sit above Sevilla in the La liga, with a narrow gap of one point, with the latter having a game in hand.

Meanwhile, the Barcelona has wired to the potential they are known for, with the return of Lionel Messi. The Catalan giants are in goal scoring spree as they have scored 23 goals in their last five games, including a 4-0 win against their bitter rivals Real Madrid in la liga, and a 6-1 win against AS Roma in Champions League.

Neymar and Suarez leads the La Liga scoring charts with 14 and 12 goals respectively, while Messi, due to his absence of three months owing to an injuring, has scored only four goals and will be keen to improve his tally. Sergi Romero will miss this fixture after limping off from the champions league rout against Roma.

The odds and stats are strongly against Valencia as they have won against Barcelona only once in their last 16 La Liga clashes. This Blaugrana team plays with excited morale and fine form such that they would not put a foot wrong which shows even a home win for Valencia seems quite unlikely.

The last two matches between Barcelona and Valencia saw Barcelona winning on both occasions with a 2-0 and 0-1 victories. Barcelona has only lost once this season and sits at the top of the La Liga table with two points separating them from third placed Valencia.

Most of the first team regulars were given a rest against lower division club Villanovense in the 4th round of Copa Del Rey. This will ensure MSN trio along with other superstars are renewed against tiresome, entering this tricky test at Mestalla.
