Pakistan Vs England, 3rd Cricket Test Prediction Recap

Pakistan used spin to mastermind a victory over England on the final day of the final Test in Sharjah. It was  a reprise of England’s 2012 nightmare against spin. At lunch, Pakistan were three wickets away from finishing off England. Alastair Cook was battling on with a score of 50 but his team capitulated and lost 4 wickets for 11 runs in five overs.

With this victory Pakistan wrap up the Test Series 2-0 win and lift themselves to No. 2 in the ICC Test rankings.

Yasir Shah (4/44) and Zulfiqar Babar (2/31) poached down most of the England batting. Joe Root, the No. 1-ranked batsman, also considered one of the best players of spin in the world, was caught leg before wiket by Yasir’s fourth ball of the morning, and it essentially caused the English to self-detonate.

Alistair Cook stood alone bravely weathering the desert storm cooked up by the Pakistani spinners. Despite his half-century England as a team fell short in this Test series.

As usual, though, we got our prediction spot on. England did lose crucial moments of the game and struggled for the most part. This cricket match had many moments when the tie could have turned either way. It turned in Pakistan’s way this time.
