Pakistan vs England: 3rd Cricket ODI – Prediction

[box type=”shadow” align=”alignleft” class=”” width=””]Prediction: This is a tough one. We see England dominating the game. Pakistan has a few chances to upset the game provided they set their onslaught on time. We go with England considering them to be better placed for a longer span in the game.[/box]

The one-day series between Pakistan and England is perfectly poised ahead of todays game in Sharjah. The winners trophy is up for grabs as after two matches the series is all square with two games still left to play. Both teams have so far managed a win apiece at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In the opening game on November 11, England were beaten comprehensively by six wickets, but 48 hours later in the next match they bounced back with an emphatic 95-run triumph. This makes it difficult to predict the outcome for the 3rd ODI.

In the first ODI Pakistan’s batting looked stable and strong as they won comfortably by 6 wickets. A special mention mention must be made of Mohammad Hafeez’s ton and Babar Azam’s half century. However, Pakistan seemed to lose their momentum in the 2nd ODI and lost the match very poorly by 95 runs. The Pakistani batting line did a u-turn and disappointed its fans in this one.

England seem to have the momentum and will be looking to take the lead in the series. The 2nd ODI win has given them a huge morale boost, but Pakistan teams always bite back after taking a punch and they realize that they too are in a similar position wherein they can take a lead in the series by winning this important game.

All said and done, this should be an enthralling game.
