Manuel labour awaits Jurgen Klopp – Prediction: Manchester City vs Liverpool

[box type=”shadow” align=”alignleft” class=”” width=””]Prediction: Even if Liverpool go up in the beginning of the game, we think that Manchester City can equal the score with its efforts. This is game of the equals. We would by a slight margin like to go with Manchester City. The Draw is our second favourite.[/box]

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side face a tough away trip to the Etihad Stadium to take on current league leaders Manchester City in Saturday’s late Premier League match.

The Reds have just one league victory under their new manager so far and have struggled to score a steady amount of goals this season. Of course, much of that can be blamed on the injuries sustained by their strike force.

City, on the other hand, have had no issues scoring goals, netting more goals than any other team in the league. Their forward line has been scoring freely even when talisman Aguero was injured. Record signing Kevin De Bruyne has also shown the kind of form that originally resulted in him being brought to the Premier League in exchange for copious amounts of money.

One of the key battles will be fought between two big Belgians – Vincent Kompany and Christian Benteke. The compatriots will battle it out in what will be an entertaining clash to say the least. The duo know all about each other having spent the past few years in the Belgian national setup.

Kompany might be a doubt for this one but is likely to feature. City have only conceded one league goal whenever their skipper has played. Kompany has also netted two goals this season having failed to score any in the previous campaign.

The other Belgian in consideration has had serious struggles with injury since joining the Merseyside club at the start of this season. Despite missing a chunk of games already, Benteke has still managed four goals and continues to impress with his performances. Liverpool will be highly dependent on Benteke to produce the goods against what will be a tough challenge against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
