Leicester City have been simply unstoppable under Claudio Ranieri this season, with the Foxes currently sitting at the very top of the EPL table, two points clear of their closest rival Arsenal, after 15 Premier League games.

While other teams including Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have faltered and dropped points at some point or the other this season, the Foxes have marched on ruthlessly, earning maximum points from their fixtures.

The Foxes, who played brilliantly in the latter stages of last season to avoid relegation, were again expected to struggle this season. But  Leicester City, instead of struggling, have been simply superb, recording nine wins, five draws and only a single defeat in the EPL so far.

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson recently stated that the Foxes have a “great chance” of upsetting the odds and lifting the Premier League title, if they manage to add some more quality to their squad in January.

However, the Foxes seem to be doing just fine at the moment, with them eviscerating almost every team in the EPL so far.

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been at the top of their game this season, with the duo already netting 24 Premier League goals (from 15 games) between them.

Vardy has been especially impressive this season, with the striker, who was playing non-league football only five years ago, breaking a decade-long EPL record (set by Ruud Van Nistelrooy, of Manchester United in the 2003/03 season), after scoring in 11 successive games.

And whenever Vardy has failed to provide goals, Mahrez has stepped up to steer Leicester City’s season right on course.

Despite Leicester City have a stellar campaign so far, everyone is eagerly waiting to find out whether or not the Foxes will be able to continue their fairy tale run in the Premier League.

So far, the only big teams that the Foxes have faced in the Premier League have been Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United. And, Leicester City were not able to do that well against these three teams, with them only being able to pick up a total of two points from these games.

Now Leicester City face their first real challenge in the Premier League as Ranieri’s side prepare to take on Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City in their next four fixtures.

If the Foxes manage to pick up some decent points from these fixtures, then they will certainly be considered as serious title contenders this season. However, if they fail to do well in these fixtures, then the Foxes will find it hard to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal.

Either ways, Leicester’s City performance in the Premier League so far this season can certainly not be undermined, with the Foxes exceeding expectations of everybody including experts, fans and themselves.
