STAT ATTACK : Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

KKR vs SRH PREVIEW

Kolkata Knight Riders take on Sunrisers Hyderabad, needing a win to secure a playoff position. The Knight Riders, currently on 14 points, could qualify despite a loss if they manage to maintain a favourable net run rate. For Hyderabad, who are already through, it is a challenge to secure 2nd position on the table.

The two teams come into this match on the back of losses – Kolkata outplayed by Gujarat Lions in their previous game and Sunrisers going down to Delhi Daredevils.

Gautam Gambhir & Robin Uthappa , Kolkata’s top run-getters, will have to lead their team’s charge once again against a very potent Hyderabad bowling attack. Mustafizur Rahman and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been very effective for the Sunrisers who will miss Ashish Nehra. Hyderabad too will bank on their openers David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan for the runs. Yuvaraj Sing in the middle-order is a big confidence boost for them. Kolkata are set to miss Andre Russell for the second game in a row.
