In the Women’s singles, Slammers’ Karolina Pliskova defeated Venus Williams 6-4 in 30 minutes to make the points tally level at 10-10.

In the second game of day two, Legendari Japan Warriors were thrashed by Obi UAE Royals 15-30, with the latter recording wins in all five sets.

Royals pair Kristina Mladenovic and Daniel Nestor thrashed Warriors’ Maria Sharapova and Leander Paes (later substituted by Pierre-Hugues Herbert) 6-0 in the Mixed Doubles, completing the set in only 17 minutes, to give their team a solid advantage.
