STAT ATTACK : Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

IPL 2016 final

Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2016 final as both teams seek first time glory. The match, to be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Banaglore, will effectively be a home game Virat Kohli’s team. Banaglore’s run the final has been no short of a miracle. From languishing at the bottom to finishing 2nd on the league table and becoming the first team to make the final, Bangalore have lived to their pre-tournament billing of favourites in style.

The Sunrisers , unlike Bangalore have been more consistent throughout the IPL. Captain David Warner has been instrumental to the team’s success, leading them with fluent batting performances. Sunrisers’ biggest strength has perhaps been their bowling. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar & Mustafizur Rahman have dominated batsmen and more so during the death overs.

Traditionally a high-scoring venue, the Chinnaswamy pitch should play to the home team’s favour. Whether Hyderabad succeed in containing the Bangalore’s run-flow will be key to the outcome.
