Hungary’s Gabor Kiraly (40) is the oldest player ever to appear at the European Championship.

BELGIUM

Belgium are in the knock-outs of the European Championships for the first time since their runners-up finish at Euro 1980.

They won back-to-back European Championship matches for the first time in Euro 2016.

Their last 5 goals at the Euros have all come after half-time.

Belgium have 80% passing accuracy in the final third of the pitch – only Spain (83%) and Germany (82%) have better accuracy.

Thomas Vermaelen’s 13 interceptions during the group stages is the tournament’s highest alongside Wales’ James Chester.

Vermaelen’s only international goal was against Hungary in November 2009.
