The Blagurana defender once again mocked the bitter rivals with a tweet of no words but full of sarcasm, and the fans emitted their disparity, obliging him to apologize.

The Spanish superstar has found time again to mock the arch-rivals Los Blancos as uncertainty shadows over their Copa Del Rey progression.

It is nothing new for the Barcelona No.3 Gerard Pique to mock their bitter rivals at every chance he gets. Earlier this year, after the triumph in Champions League, Pique mocked Cristiano Ronaldo when Pique made a mischievous orientation to the hilarious Karaoke video involving Ronaldo and Singer Kevin Roldan, indicative of Ronaldo’s Birthday celebration in January. The action from the Barcelona defender stirred anguish effervescence on Madrid fans, especially the fans from Spain.

They expressed their disagreement to this cheeky action as they booed Pique in Spain’s international matches, where Spain head coach Del Bosque rescued his player from further disgrace.

However, fingers were again pointed against Pique as he indirectly mocked the Real Madrid when he tweeted laughter emoticons after the controversial Copa Del Rey match between Real Madrid and Cadiz. Madrid fielded the Russian winger Cheryshev in the fourth round of the Copa Del Rey, which they won 3-1, Chershev scored the opening goal as well. But the win was overshadowed by the controversy that Cheryshev was ineligible to play, following his suspension last season, when he was on loan at Villareal and managed to be booked for three times.

Pique later trolled Real Madrid, with a tweet full of smiling emoticons. Several pundits and fans put up their feelings against Pique as they thought this was an injudicious act, after all he was part of such a controversy just over 5 months ago.

But Pique has expressed his virtue, stating it was an art of no harm.

“My tweet? It was just a kidding. You know me, everybody know me, it was to remove the drama. It was funny. I am this way and I will be like that till I retire”

The Barcelona defender did not hesitate to express his support to Cheryshev as well.

“We will see how this ends. I am sure he [Cheryshev] is uncomfortable with all these, and I want to send him my full support.”

The negative hype conjured after the emoticon-tweet by Pique has somewhat reduced by his humble apology.

The future of Los Blancos in Copa Del Rey remains undefined, after Cadiz authorities have said they will approach Spanish Football Federation for further actions, which may result in Real Madrid expelled from the Copa Del Rey for the rest of this season.
