Arsenal host Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb on Match Day 5 of the UEFA Champions League, in a do-or-die encounter for both clubs. Arsenal and Dinamo are stranded on 3rd and 4th place respectively on the group table, separated only on goal difference. And both teams will look to bolster their chances of progressing into the last 16 with a win.

In the other match of the group, table-toppers Bayern Munich will play Olympiakos FC at the Allianz Arena and a draw in that match will end any hopes Arsenal and Dinamo may be fostering of progressing to the next round.

Arsenal come to this match after a frustrating loss to West Bromwich Albion, where they conceded 2 goals in quick succession after striker Olivier Giroud had headed in the first goal. Heaping more misery onto the unfortunate night, Santi Cazorla missed a penalty in the dying moments of the match.

Meanwhile, it was an easy, routine win for Dinamo in the Croatian Football League, where they are reigning champions for the last 10 years. They beat Slaven Kopvinca in their league match.

The injury-stricken Arsenal will be without a bunch of first-team players – the new addition to the injury list being Francis Coquelin. But Aaron Ramsey had a full training with first ream and is expected to be at least on the bench, if not in the starting line-up.

The reverse fixture on Match Day 1 saw Dinamo winning with Josip Pivaric and Junior Fernandes scoring. The Gunners were spared the blushes, albeit partially, when Theo Walcott scored a consolation goal.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will hope his team can exact revenge and at least give them an outside chance of making it to the Round of 16.
