Gujarat Lions vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Match Preview

The penultimate match of IPL 2016 will see Gujarat Lions taken on Sunrisers Hyderabad with a place in the final at stake. From a position of strength, the Gujarat Lions team slipped up to lose the first qualifier against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Dhawal Kulkarani had sent most of the Bangalore top-order packing except for AB de Villiers. The South African was determined to seal a place in the final and saw him team through with one of the best IPL knocks of all time.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team struggled initially against the Kolkata Knight Riders, but did enough to earn a shot at the final. Hyderabad were excellent with the ball, like they have been for most of this season. Against Gujarat, they would need another thorough all-round performance if they want to make it to Sunday’s final.
