Manchester United play hosts to Norwich City as they look to get back to their winning ways in the Premier League.

Manchester United

The Red Devils have certainly not been poor this season, with them currently sitting in fourth place in the Premier League.

However, they have had a slight dip in form of late, with Louis van Gaal’s men only picking up two points from their last three EPL games against Leicester City (1-1), West Ham United (0-0) and Bournemouth (0-1).

While United have dropped points, others teams like Leicester City, Arsenal and Manchester City have taken advantage. And due to this reason the Red Devils are currently in fourth place; six, four and three points behind Leicester City (current leaders), Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.

United’s recent dip in form has also resulted in them becoming the only English team to get eliminated from the group stages of the Champions League this season. Although nothing can be done about their premature Champions League exit, United still have a good chance of winning the EPL title this season. However, in order to do so, they need to start picking up maximum points from their remaining EPL fixtures.

Despite Manchester United not being in the best of forms of late, they are expected to beat the struggling Norwich City side at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Still, the Red Devils will be a little cautious following their defeat to Bournemouth (another Premier League struggler) last weekend.

Norwich City

After winning promotion back to the Premier League this season, the Canaries were impressive in the opening stages of the campaign, registering some convincing wins over Sunderland (3-1) and Bournemouth (3-1).

However, Norwich City have been playing very poorly of late, managing only a single win from their last 11 EPL fixtures. This drastic drop in form has resulted in Alex Neil’s side nosediving into the relegation zone.

With only a total of three EPL wins so far, Norwich City’s survival chances look very bleak, especially with their current run of form. However, there is still time for the Canaries to improve considering the season is only at its midway stage.

Although Norwich are certainly not the favourites to beat Manchester United, they will be hoping to take advantage of the Red Devils’ currently dip in form, when they travel to Old Trafford on Saturday.

Expected Lineups:

Manchester United: De Gea; Varela, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Schneiderlin, Carrick; Mata, Rooney, Depay; Martial.

Norwich City: Rudd; Wisdom, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Redmond, O’Neil, Tettey, Brady; Hoolahan; Jerome.
