1. April 24,1973- The Cricket legend was born

 

1. 1987-Aspired to become a fast bowler and joined the MRF pace academy, where he was rejected by Dennis Lillee, who asked him to concentrate on his batting.

 

1. 1987-During the India v/s Zimbabwe 1987 World Cup, Sachin was the ball boy.

 

1. 1988- Fielded for Pakistan for 25 minutes in an exhibition one day match.

1. Dec 10^th 2004- Became the 3^rd player in history to score centuries against all test playing nations.

 

1. March 16^th 2005- Scored 10,000 test runs in course of this 52 against Pakistan. He became the 5^th cricketer to do so.

1. Oct 17^th 2008- Against Australia, became the highest run scorer in Test Cricket in Mohali
